Sarkis Katchadourian was obviously aware of and influenced by the modern movements of the Cubist artists and the Fauvist painters. Sarkis Katchadourian's "Calla Lilies" beautifully exhibits features from both movements and is most likely an early work created while he was studying in Paris.
