Paul Raymond Seaton has captured the abundance and radiance of these lush peonies in the quaint still life. He continues to be celebrated for his ability to capture the detail and delicacy of flowers and their surroundings. After graduating in mathematics from Exeter University in 1980 and brief stints at teacher training, busking and stately home minding, Paul “discovered the error of my ways and turned to paint brushes, silence and tranquility.” Since 1984, Paul has exhibited at the Whitechapel Open, Royal Birmingham Society of Artists, Mall Galleries and Royal Academy. His first one-man show was at the Dive Gallery in Muswell Hill. His work is mostly in private collections in Europe, USA and Australia. He lives in London.
